Cruelty Free International urges governments worldwide to ban animal testing for cosmetics

Cruelty Free International has today written to governments around the world to ask them to ban animal testing for cosmetics and ingredients.
In a global market it is important for all countries to ban animal testing for cosmetics to avoid testing simply moving around the world to countries with no effective laws.
We are calling on governments and regulators to respond to both the widespread view internationally that this practice is cruel and unnecessary, and the fact that there are many humane and safer ways of testing products and ingredients.
