We urge the USA and Canada to act for a cruelty free North America
This week, Mexico’s Senate voted to outlaw the practice of animal testing for cosmetics, as well as the manufacture, import or marketing of cosmetics tested on animals anywhere in the world after the law comes into force. The bill will now move on to the next stage of the legislative process in the Chamber of Deputies. This puts Mexico in pole position to be the first country in North America to outlaw cosmetic animal testing.

Every bill brings us closer to a global end to this cruel and unnecessary practice. We would urge the USA to follow suit and get the Humane Cosmetics Act on the statute books as soon as possible.”
