Giveaway Terms and Conditions

By entering our Australia Giveaway ("Giveaway"), you agree to the following terms and conditions:
1. Eligibility
The Giveaway is open to legal residents of Australia only who are at least aged 18 or older at the time of entry. Employees, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members of Cruelty Free International are not eligible to participate. The Giveaway is subject to all applicable local laws and regulations.
2. Sponsor
The Giveaway is sponsored by Cruelty Free International, located at 16a Crane Grove, London, N7 8NN, UK ("Sponsor").
3. Agreement to Rules
By participating, the entrant agrees to be fully and unconditionally bound by these rules and represents that they meet the eligibility requirements. In addition, the entrant agrees to accept the decisions of Cruelty Free International as final and binding regarding the Giveaway.
4. How to Enter
To enter the Giveaway:

Limit one entry per person. Duplicate entries using same email address and/or phone number will be disqualified. Only individuals who opt into SMS communications from Cruelty Free International between 10.02.2025-24.02.2025 are eligible to take part in this giveaway.

5. Giveaway Period
Entries will be accepted via opting into text and/or email alerts from Cruelty Free International via our online form, starting on 10.02.2025 and ending 24.02.2025. All entries must be received by 23:59 (AEST) on 24.02.2025.

The hamper is valued at $2,238. No cash or other prize substitution is permitted except at Cruelty Free International's discretion. The prize is non-transferable. Postage of prize will be covered by Cruelty Free International. Any additional fees related to the delivery of the giveaway (e.g. Missed delivery) will not be covered by Cruelty Free International.
7. Winner Selection and Notification
The winner(s) of the Giveaway(s) will be selected in a random drawing. The winner(s) will be notified both via text to the number they used to enter the Giveaway and via email to the address they provided Cruelty Free International associated with their phone number, following the winner selection no later than 23:59 (AEST) on 25.02.2025. Cruelty Free International shall have no liability for the winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk, or other security settings or for the winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information.
The winning name will also be announced online in a Facebook post from Cruelty Free International’s account. Entry into the Giveaway is your consent for your name to be announced in this way.
If the selected winner cannot be contacted, is ineligible, fails to claim the prize within 24 hours from the time the award notification was sent, or fails to timely return a completed and executed declaration and releases as required, the prize may be forfeited, and an alternate winner selected.
8. Odds
One (1) entry per person (identified by data submitted in form).
9. Rights Granted by You
By entering this Giveaway, you understand and agree that Cruelty Free International, anyone acting on behalf of Cruelty Free International, and its licensees, successors, and assigns shall have the right, where permitted by law, to use the winner’s name, likeness, and entry for advertising, promotion, and marketing purposes without further compensation, notice, or consent.
10. Terms & Conditions
Cruelty Free International reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the Giveaway should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or any other cause beyond the control of Cruelty Free International corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the Giveaway. In such cases, Cruelty Free International may select the winners from all eligible entries received before and/or after the action taken by Cruelty Free International.
Cruelty Free International reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the Giveaway or otherwise seeks to violate these Terms & Conditions.
11. Limitation of Liability
By entering, you agree to release and hold harmless Cruelty Free International and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, and assigns from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from (i) such entrant’s participation in the Giveaway and/or acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof.
12. Disputes
This Giveaway is governed by the laws of Australia. The parties shall endeavour to settle any dispute arising out of or relating to this agreement, including with regard to its existence, validity or termination, by mediation administered by the Australian Disputes Centre (ADC) before having recourse to arbitration or litigation.
The mediation shall be conducted in accordance with the ADC Guidelines for Commercial Mediation operating at the time the matter is referred to ADC (the Guidelines).
The terms of the Guidelines are hereby deemed incorporated into this agreement.
This clause shall survive termination of this agreement.

By entering the Giveaway, you agree to receive text and email marketing communications from Cruelty Free International. You may opt out of receiving these messages at any time via SMS by replying ‘STOP’ to +61485889485, via email by clicking ‘Unsubscribe’ via the email footer, or by emailing our Supporter Care team: supportercare@crueltyfreeinternational.org
