Emmy and Golden Globe award winning actor, Peter Dinklage, star of Game of Thrones has today joined with Cruelty Free International in welcoming the introduction of the Humane Cosmetics Act.
The Humane Cosmetics Act, introduced by U.S. Representatives Don Beyer (D-VA), Martha McSally (R -AZ), Joe Heck (R -NV) and Tony Cardenas (D-CA), would end animal testing for cosmetics after an one year phase in and would further phase out the sale of animal tested cosmetics in three years.
Peter Dinklage, well known for his role as Tyrion Lannister in Game of Thrones states:
Peter Dinklage joined Cruelty Free International as its US Ambassador in April 2012 and has since helped to raise awareness of the continued cruel use of animals to test everyday beauty products and toiletries from soap to toothpaste.
